Our Classes

Our classes welcome everyone—no matter your fitness level or stage of PD. Whether you're ambulatory or use a wheelchair, you'll leave feeling energized and more mobile. Caregivers are encouraged to join, offering support and learning helpful activities to continue at home. Wear comfortable clothing, bring water, and get ready to move in a way that feels great!

Group Classes

Sitting PWR!Moves

Designed for those who use assistive devices and move at a more comfortable pace, the sitting class provides a welcoming space to build strength, mobility, and confidence. You'll engage in seated PWR!Moves, posture improvement, weight shifting, trunk rotation, and gentle stepping—all tailored for your needs. Plus, enjoy arm and leg strengthening activities, along with fun games that sharpen your memory.

PWR!Circuit

This class is ideal for those who are mobile without an assistive device and can transition on and off the floor independently or with the support of a chair. Participants will engage in group exercise stations designed to improve balance, strength, mobility, and coordination. The class also includes activities that support multitasking and cognitive skills.

Rock Steady Boxing

This class is designed for those who can move independently or with an assistive device, offering an engaging workout inspired by boxing drills. The focus is on building agility, speed, endurance, accuracy, hand-eye coordination, footwork, and overall strength. For added support, some participants may benefit from a ‘cornerman’ to ensure safety throughout the session.

POP Vocal Class

Unlock better breathing, a stronger voice, and improved swallowing—all through fun and engaging exercises!

Other Opportunities

Peer Group

This is open to all POP Fitness clients and occurs on the Second Sunday of each month from 1:30-3:00 pm at the studio.  Members have an opportunity to talk and share ideas.  Carepartners are welcome.

Private Sessions

If you feel like you would like a more personalized workout or just are not comfortable in a group setting, we offer one-on-one training sessions.  We will begin with a consultation where we assess your walking, balance, and transfers, and formulate a program geared toward addressing your needs and achieving your goals.

PD School

This is a zoom session that is meant for education on all topics relating to Parkinson’s disease.  Each session we will watch a different recorded lecture that lasts about an hour.  You can read more about the lectures at Parkinson School (parkinson-school.com)
